Kew Gardens is a cherished destination for Nichola, offering a serene taste of nature. This stunning spot shines in every season, featuring various microclimates and an array of plant species housed in heated greenhouses. It serves as a constant source of inspiration and a welcome escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

V&A Museum

When Nichola seeks textile inspiration, she heads to the V&A Museum. With extensive archives of ancient textiles and crafts from around the world, it’s a treasure trove for creativity. The museum often hosts brilliant exhibitions that further enhance the experience.

Richmond Park

Richmond Park holds a special place in Nichola’s heart, as she grew up nearby. This expansive royal park feels like a countryside retreat despite its proximity to London. It’s a fantastic spot for deer watching and immersing oneself in nature, complete with charming cafes scattered throughout.

Petersham Nurseries

Petersham Nurseries is a constant source of inspiration for Nichola. After working in the shop for four years upon returning from India, she appreciates its unique charm, located in beautifully restored greenhouses. The boho, shabby-chic vibe, combined with plants, antiques, fine dining, and delightful tea and cake, creates an unforgettable atmosphere.

Ganapati South Indian Restaurant

Ganapati, a small South Indian restaurant tucked away in Peckham Rye, is Nichola’s favourite dining spot in London. Known for its authentic South Indian cuisine, this hidden gem offers delicious coconut curries, Dosas, and flavourful chutneys that transport her back to her travels in India. It’s a must-visit for anyone in search of truly exceptional food.
