Urban Explorer Series: Jodie's Travel Itinerary
“To me, an urban explorer is someone who is driven by curiosity and their passion in perfecting their craft or hobby. Believe it or not, ceramics and running a business in general is still fairly new to me and I am continuously learning on the job.”

Shoreditch
I enjoy exploring this area because it is quite close to me, and it is very cool. This area is sprawling with a number of eclectic vintage boutiques, eateries, gastropubs, and artisan coffee shops. And I am so enamoured by the captivating street art.
Camden
The thriving hub of markets, nightlife scene, and old-school pubs are what make Camden such a unique place to visit. You can just walk around the markets and explore all the different stalls, which I really love. Nearby, you can find Regent’s Park and walk around the gardens or make an afternoon trip to the London Zoo.
Carnaby
Carnaby is absolutely beautiful! You can find so many independent, quirky shops here.
There are also numerous diners, artisan coffee shops, cocktail bars, indie clothing boutiques and large fashion chains in this part of the city. Every now and then, I like to go into the Liberty London department store just to see what they are selling so I have a better idea of what’s trendy.
Columbia Road
On Sundays, I like to stop by Columbia Road where they sell fresh flowers at the market. From 8AM-3PM, the road is lined with stalls selling flowers, houseplants, herbs, bulbs, and shrubs. And then Broadway market is quite close where they have got food markets there. You can also visit some independent shops in the area too. If you want to be surrounded by some greenery, you’ve got Victoria Park nearby. That is a nice place to spend your afternoon!
