Cycle Across London
If you visit in March, rent a bike and ride around the suburbs of East London, Chelsea, and Knights-bridge. It is like a treasure hunt to find the best Cherry Blossoms and Magnolias in bloom. In March, you will find Daffodils popping up in every park right now, but it is the houses with Wisteria growing around them that are the real gem.
Chelsea Flower Show
Formally known as the Great Spring Show, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is held in London for five consecutive days in May on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in Chelsea, London. This annual display of flora and fauna draws an audience from across the globe to bask in the beauty of impeccable gardens dreamed up by the biggest names in floristry.
Chelsea In Bloom
This free annual festival is produced by Cadogan in association with the Royal Horticultural Society (the RHS), where you can find the squares, streets, and facades of Chelsea transformed with beautiful flower displays. Each year revolves around a new theme, and this year it takes place between 20-26 May 2024 at Sloane Square, along King’s Road, Pavilion Road, Duke of York Square, and Sloane Street.
Avenue Park in Stoke Newington
It is a beautiful hidden oasis where I used to live, and the cemetery here is the quietest place in central London. You can sit on a park bench surrounded by trees and overgrown like a wilderness escape. You cannot hear a single traffic noise and it is absolutely mesmerising! Here, you can find yourself stumbling upon a gorgeous cathedral with stained glass windows and Ivy has grown all around it in the centre of this park, lined with beautiful gravestones. It is a beautiful little escape in the heart of London, which I absolutely adore.
